I know this has been beaten to death but...

.....Can someone please give me a link to a site where I can buy the OEM red saddle bags for my 07 VFR cheaper than $1200.

I have read the post's where people have bought the bags for 800 or so .The cheapest I have found them is $1200.00
Please help a brother VFR'r out.

You might check a place in the UK called David Silver Spares, I've heard they have good prices.

 

The only ones I have found are HONDA VFR800 V-TEC PANNIER SET(PAIR) NEW on eBay (end time 03-Mar-10 23:18:56 GMT) These work out at about $463 and are new. You are going to need to find the racks. You can try Honda or just do a search. If you need a courier to get them to you try https://www.transglobal.org.uk/quote.asp?serv_type=2 I shipped two panniers and top box for $190 via DHL from the UK to Canada.
This set has been on Ebay for some time so you can always throw them an offer say 250 pound and see if they accept. I did that for my Candy red full set (top box, carriers and side bags) for $900. If they accept its going to be $390

Unless you HAVE to have new, find a set of used ones on craigslist. I scored my bags with brackets and all hardware for $350 shipped. I just have to paint them and they are quite functional whether they match or not.

 

He's dropped his price to $350.

The set does not come with any mounting hardware and will be the wrong red. You will need to price out the hardware and see how much it will cost to get it sprayed to match your bike, if you want it to match.

Found them here for only $873 (no tax) and hardware is included. pretty much a steal. I wouldnt pay the $1200 from the dealer so I spent a lot of time researching the best online price. Here ya go...
