Check these out from Luggage locker, expensive but fit is excellent. The hook up is much cleaner looking without the straps because it hooks up to the seat. I have one on my 01 VFR. Check out the pictures on my website at Honda VFR Twilight Zone pinball

The luggage locker wins hands down in function but the Axio wins in form IMO. I might like the Luggage locker without the handle. It reminds me of a lunch box. Look at this picture of my bike and you'll see the Axio mounts to a 6th gen. the same way, under the seat and the straps can not be seen. Axio Tail Bag Profile - VFRworld Photo Gallery

The new Axio 2.0 offers the possibilty to match existing 6th gen. colors and it might hook up to a 6th gen.in the same way. The fact you can get a matching tank bag is not bad either.

I have looked at both the Axio and Luggage Locker. I really think the Axio is the cleanest looking tail bag I've ever seen. My question is how did you fasten the straps under the seat?
    thanks

The luggage locker bag slides onto the passenger seat you fold over the flaps, velcro, fasten 2 quick release straps and the bag is secure, install back on the bike. It is a very nice and clean look. I have one for my 01 VFR and it fits perfect.

The Axio has 4 black colored loops at each corner, they are intended for use with the bungee net that comes with the bag. Run the straps through the loops and velcro them together under the seat. My picture gallery has two detailed pictures if you need to see, also if you spray the fabric with scotch guard it will keep it from fading.

Maybe you should start a luggage Locker thread.

LOL, no, my problem is that I received a private message about this thread that I didn't read right and I thought the question was for me about how my bag fits. My bad, didn't mean to ruin your AXIO bag thread with useless information about my Luggage Locker bag.

I think most people are familiar with both the LL and the current Axio. I want to know if the colors on the NEW bag will match up to some of the 6th gen stock colors. That was the whole point of this thread. :peace:

If anyone has a friend with an R1 or whatever that has the new 2.0 bags, let us know if it's a match and please post pictures.

thanks for the pix park800, I have the blue Axio tailbag and was strapping it down the sides of the bike, which looked ridiculuous.
    Your way looks far "cleaner."

Last season I got to see DenT's silver Axio tail bag... super slick looking, matched the silver 03 paint great. I wonder if the colors have changed .....
