Hell yes I would buy that if I had the money and the test ride went well. As for your height /inseam woes, I also have a 6th gen. I'm 5'4" with a 30" inseam and the bike is a little tall but completely manageable. The stock seat vs the Seargent I now have dosen't seem to make much difference it height, but the Seargent is sooooooo much more comfy.

I bought my '98 a couple of years ago from my brother. Bone stock with 21,xxx miles on the OD. Paid $3,750.00 for it, and got a leather jacket, tank bag, and some other stuff I can't remember. May have been able to get one cheaper, but I know where mine's been and what's been done to it. And my brother NEVER took it past 7000 rpm. Makes me wonder why he had it in the first place!

But I digress (as I'm prone to do, and am now doing once again). If the VFR you posted is in as good shape as it looks and road tests OK, grab it!

Thanks Metallican525...it sure helps when someone my size says it's OK on the height. I just hope I can get at least the balls of both feet down. Don't know if he'll let me test ride. I sold my first bike to a guy that rode up on a Goldwing and obviously had years of riding experience. I didn't have a problem with a test ride. But some newbie comes along and I'm sure most of us would flinch without cash in hand. I'm a relative newbie with only two years riding under my belt, so we'll see. I do have confidence that this is a superb bike and my reasearch tells me it's the type of bike I'm looking for.

Is this the seat? Sargent World Sport Seat for Honda VFR800 Interceptor at discounted prices
$360 the going rate for that one?

It looks like a nice deal. One owner bikes are the best if you trust the seller, easier to know the history and what's been done. The Erion exhaust is a nice addition and isn't cheap. Besides the seat there are a couple quick and easy changes to the suspension you can do to lower the height of the bike probably a full inch or so. There are some more complex changes to lower it further if needed. The mileage isn't a concern assuming he's taken care of it, it'll go well over 100K w/ proper maintenance. The VFR stickers on the bike are reproductions from the 80's classic VFR's so he may be a VFR nut like the rest of us. Good luck.

    Woo Hoo!

Woo hoo! It's a done deal! Just waiting for the seller to deliver it to Spokane sometime this week, give him a check, change the oil and check it over, then learn to ride my new viffer...I'm humble enough to know that there will be a learning curve for me coming from riding only cruisers.

The Givi bags are awesome and the exhast cans seem very nice. As a bonus it has Heli bars!
