Some snow pictures from the farm two days ago. Can't do any riding in this stuff! I spent the day on my tractor clearing my driveway and my neighbors and digging my trucks out.

 

Umm...I have room in my garage. Thought I taught you better than that! Don't make me get an emergency custody order on your bike cause you're neglecting it. I'm sure there is a way to get it into the warmth and safety of your living room.

 

I was gona take you up on your offer, but i was working/away all week, and by the time i got home on friday there was already a good 3-4" on the ground.

Yep, 2500 Heavy Duty, 4x4 with the Cummins Turbo Diesel. Second one I've had, traded in my black one, that was the extended cab (smaller "van opening" rear doors); we like the crew cab much better. You don't have to plug them in anymore.

They are fantastic in the snow, even this little bit we got here lately. :wink:

My work schedule is not allowing me to make any summer plans yet but I'm sure I'll end up chasing the Dragon at least once this year. Its merely a days ride from here. One day down, two to play, and one day back. Great weekend getaway and even better during the week!

Looks like the next 2 weekends will have temps hovering up near the 50's! A little rain to clean the roads up some would be welcomed as well. I may get out briefly on Friday for a local ride.

Make sure you're extra cautious. The road conditions are sketchy this time of year and more of our fellow motorists have been upgraded to iPhones and other internet capable handheld devices for plenty of distractions. Plus they haven't seen a bike in a month so they won't be looking out...will you?

 

I hear ya bruddah.... It will sketchy. lots of sand and salt but take it slo and enjoy the bike. I hope the next week will be more riding less driving. Nice seeing you around...

update

So I picked up another bike for this upcoming season:

2004 Squidster GSXR 750 with lots of goodies. Couldn't pass up a good deal.

 

REALLY nice, should be a lot of fun!

 

Someone is going to have to show me where the good roads are cause I cant even find anyplace to get near the abilities of my VFR. In fact I was talking to a co worker yesterday about trading it in on a KLR.
