$20 Rim Job

Found this rim tape on E-bay,little tricky to apply,turned out alright:smile:

 

thought this thread was about something else. Oh well.

This was my all time favorite thread title.

 

I just did the same thing and I like it.Really wakes up the black wheels for 20 bucks.

 

I also thought this was a different kind of thread! (And BTW, do not talk about your "fanny pack" in New Zealand! It is a BELT BAG!!!)

I want to do that to my RIM but I don't know what colour to go for. Candy red bike with silver wheels. Any ideas?

Sounds boring I know but black is about the only color that drops right onto red.
If it's your thing gold might be nice too, especially if you have other gold colored mechanical parts... like your calipers!

My rims are black so I'm figuring red stripes.

 

saw the same thing awhile back and bought the red verson to go with my white rims that are being powder coated.

 

OH man those look good, I wish i could get white wheels on my white 06, but i just dont keep her clean enough for that.

You should take some really nice and big photos that way i can use them as backgrounds on my computers

 

Mark123, thanks, looks good. I think I will order a set and see how mine looks. For $13.00 its worth it just to be able to fool around with the bike. Any tips on how to put these on?
