I thought long was gonna get this one. That's 2 winners for randy, if you believe it (the photo evidence has since mysteriously disappeared I believe.....)

More snow in CO and I won't be riding before next week. Here's hoping Randy wants to see pictures of Honda valve springs or something :laugh:

Well I found a bonified memorial (not a VFW, although many VFW's do have memorials on their grounds) about 20minutes away. I checked satalite imagery and I'm not sure that I can get my bike close enough to get a very good picture. Wife works late tonight so just maybe I'll roll the miniceptor out of the garage and run over there. Colder temps today and chance of precip so not sure if I'll make it out of the garage or not.

 

Not going to make the calendar but the location has potential if I could pull my head out of my ass and learn how to take a picture.

Well, I was thinking we needed to breath some excitement back into this thing. We've paid lots of tribute to charity, Christmas, and honoring of service to country and community. Then there was some scuba diving too but I'm beginning to wonder if that just reminded everyone that it's winter.

So, here's what I'm thinking. The Super Bowl is coming, the AFC and NFC title games are this weekend; I want to see someone get a photo of their bike posed with a cardboard cutout hottie chick like you see as display in your local liquor store. I suspect the stores are ramping up their displays now and this shouldn't be terribly tough if you have the balls to ask the counter person to borrow their display. If your store doesn't have the cutout, try and get a lifesized poster of a barely clothed hardbody and pose it with your bike. If no one is able to get the cardboard cutout, whomever is first with the poster picture will be declared the winner.

Thanks for the praise Cundalini but I doubt it's quite calendar quality as it is. I could go back and try for an improved shot another time. I was going for a certain affect and didn't quite achieve what I was after. There's some grainie-ness, focus, and composition issues if you really analize the crap out of it.
