I have a 97 vfr with a givi luggage system. I don't know what system it is but it does have side plates and a top plate. I have found a fantastic deal on a high mount exhaust that I want to put on my bike. What kind of interference issues will I have with the exhaust and the luggage. Also, will I be able to get by without re-jetting the bike. I do apologize for the lack of details, but I just don't know what the stuff is. I've never owned a carb'ed street bike before, so I didn't consider the re-jetting until this morning.

Dang, no replies! I have a wing rack givi system and It seems that it will interfere with the high mount exhaust, but to what extent i'm not sure. I'm hoping someone here has done this and that I can just make a new support rod. I hope the box itself doesn't hit. My newest problem is if I am going to have to re-jet the bike after putting on the slip on vance and hines exhaust (carbon fiber can).

Yes some people have made the staintune work.. If you have a biffer muffler you may have to tweak its bracket but it should be able to fit. I have the same Givi set up and wanted to change my exhaust so I just went with the undertail - Problem solved.

I can't speak directly to the Wingrack but I did purchase a Givi top case mount for my '96 so I could swap my top case back and forth between my '04 and the '96. Never even gave my high mount 2 Bros can a second thought; unfortunately I couldn't mount the top rack with the high mount can. Ended up being another exercise in "buying high and selling low"; sold the rack to a forum member in SF, CA...
