Make sure to include blood mountain IMO that's the most fun road in the whole of georgia with a close second being 348. Wolf's Pen gap is too rough and there are too many blind corners. It's more suitable for a supermotard.

With the exception of Blood Mtn. those are my favorite roads! 348 and 28 are the great cause there are no LEOs.

I agree, all those roads should be on the list! Dan, you just hate Blood Mtn. because of that ticket you got there.

Oh, I don't hate it but I would prefer to avoid anymore monetary contributions to Lumpkin Co. for sure. It would certainly suck leading a group ride to 129 only to ride the darn speed limit. Perhaps it won't be an issue during the week. BTW I've reinstalled my radar detector since that little incident. Also, I would make either The Riverwalk Rest.on 129 or TWO on 60 a must for lunch if you're gonna be out that way. Then you can run 60 up to Murphy and 19 back to 28 back to KSL. Oh, before I forget BITE ME! VFRW Spring Fling 2010 yeah, baby!!

Yeah I do admit the LEOs do come out on blood mountain but I've never gotten a speeding ticket and if I got one for every time I went over the limit I'd be in jail.

Just a tip, what works is to do a scout run following the speed limit and scope the area. Even if you see one cop, go somewhere else. And um ahem, I heard from a friend that if you're going extremely fast and the cop is going the other way, just don't wait for them to catch up he he!!

The trooper that nicked us pulled right across the road in front of us .Some crazy shit!! Anyway, I'm too old to be running from the law. You're idea to scout it out ahead is a good one. The same would apply to Deals Gap. Then again, you could just ride behind KD4ysi. No chance of getting caught for speeding there!
