Is there a way to see what posts of yours are thanked? Before this upgrade I was able to go to my profile and click on a link with "View all thanked posts by Joey_Dude"

No, there is no way to do this in the current version. The author of that feature will probably add that search feature back in at some point in the future.

I love the subtle changes but I must mention that my classifieds section no longer works with the google chrome browser.

I just tested with the latest version of Chrome and it seems to work just fine for me. In fact, it looks even better than IE or Firefox. Can you clarify what isn't working for you?

I have the dev version 4.0.266.0 so that may be the issue. When you choose bikes, it shows 0 and only shows the upper and lower automatic boxes. When I get home I'll try and e more specific.

I am positive I had 998 posts before the switch, now I have 974. It is no big deal...I don't have an ego but I assume it dropped some threads or replies somewhere in the conversion???

In the first picture you can see a very sexy looking normal Classifieds section.

In the second picture you see it shows 0 listings for anything I click on.
I can say that this is the first problem I have had with websites ever since running this release a few days after it came out.

O and btw I wanted to say excellent job having the forums and classifieds on the front page no longer hidden.

Let me know if this helps you guys out and if there is anything I can do further.

I definitely see what you're talking about, but when I run 3.0.195.38, it looks just fine. My assumption is that there is a bug in the version of Chrome that you are using. I will definitely search around to see if other users are experiencing the same issue, and see if the author of the Classifieds software has any knowledge of the issue. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not gonna swear to it, but I think the software go through all the messages periodically and recounts everyone's posts. So if I delete a thread, I think, anyone who posted in that thread will lose the post count from those messages. I'm not positive, but I believe that what's we figured out the last time someone noticed post count changing. I have no idea what post count is any more, but I hear it's way up there... ;) now if any of them were useful...

That's exactly right, the site routinely recalculates all of it's counters as part of it's normal maintenance. It's very common for your post counts to go down slightly. But don't worry, we won't hold it against you. :)

Keep in mind that photos also count as posts, so everytime you add or remove something in the photo gallery, it counts.

Lurking seems to cause this. I left a VFRW tab open in IE8 over night and got 4 email updates on 1 thread.

Same here... but FireFox. For instance I haven't been back to this thread since my post 4 or so pages ago, but I keep getting notification emails since I always have the chat window open.

Nota big per-se, but a week or two ago there was a button on the NAV bar to show posts since last visit. Any way we could get one back on the NAV bar

we have disabled the wiki due to lack of use. If there seems to be a big demand for it, we may reinsert it. It just never seemed to take off in the 2 years we tried to get people to add to it.

please don't leave extra chat windows open if you are not using them. every user who is logged into vfrworld in every vfrworld tab they have open is getting sent every chat message. you can see how this taxes the bandwidth and slows the site for everyone. my own personal method is to join, the disable chat group, then glance at the shoutbox on the frontpage or open a tab just for the chat prg then I can read messages and the like without having a chat box at the tob of every page.
