Yeah, I've lived through a handfull of 4-7 footers in my time. I'm from Denver where we're equipped to deal with storms like that and yet they remain nightmarish. I can't imagine what that would be like for a state that is relatively unprepared. Four deaths due to snow and cold goes to speak about how some places just aren't used to this kind of thing. As you said, "could be worse"

it was so cold here today that .the candain geese were here flew farther south..............aww hell thats nor funny whats funny is the 3 dozen candaian geese that have taken up residence in the slough area around my apartment complex.. I think they were putting on sunblock today..it was 75 accourding to the truck temp anyway..

we went to the beach yesterday.... played in the water even..

 

Just got back from a nice 'lil ride through Malibu Canyons and such. Mostly was in the upper 40s, low 50's but, for a while there when I was deep in the canyon it dropped down to 37 for a long 16 miles...
... yeah that's right, 0200; night rides baby!!!
