Just sent for a shipping quote. That price is less than half of what I pay here. And they are expecting our loonie to hit par with the greenback soon...again... for at least 5 minutes

They just quoted me $274 shipped to Chilliwack. Then there will be duty at the border and the bastards will hit me up for taxes and recycling fees and all that other government shit. By time all is said and done, I am not sure it will be that great of a deal for me. Too bad I won't be able to make my present tires last until Slo 2010. But I need new tires soon. I hit some road snakes in the rain the other night on my way home from work, at about a buck 30 and developed high speed wobble. Caused a major involuntary workout of the rectal muscles. I need tires....and a governor.

Why don't you buy some cheap tires for now, Buy and pay them I will pick up for you and you can swap them out when you are here at SLO 2010.

WTF here. I don't buy anything cheap. It is just not good enough unless I spend twice as much as anyone else. Don't you know? I think to do this, I would find myself behind as far as expenditures go so I will just bite the bullit and get the good stuff here right off the bat. Mine are the dual compound so I am going to stick with that.

If i was going to do this buy, i would ask about the date code on the tires.
