you are correct. didn't we used to have that option or am I imagining it? I could have sworn that you were able to do that. I'll see what I can find out on the developer site.

 

There are two ways to search within a specific forum:

1. If you go to the forum you are interested in, there is a drop down menu called Search Forum. The results will be only from that particular forum.
2. If you go to Advanced Search (top right of every page) and then you click on "Search by Type" in the upper right, then you'll be able to limit your search to a specific forum, or a list of forums. This feature works slightly differently than the old version, but the results should still be the same.

so that's where they hid it. I knew we should be able to do that... it seems like it would just be listed below when you go to advanced search rather than having to click search by type then it pops up. oh well.
