    17" wheel conversion

I have a good jump on it. The front wheel is ready to go, new bearings & spacers (I am using CBR600F rims) - the rear wheel is getting there.

I have the rear brake carrier finished (I am using a Brembo caliper) and the CBR sprocket carrier is being machined.

An interesting side note to the rear wheel - after much measuring, I found the outmost spacer surface on the sprocket side - to the wheel's centerline - to be 2mm more than from the outmost surface of the brake carrier. I am not sure if this is a tolerance issue but I will be keeping as is. I have read that British bikes, back in the day, ran with up to a 1/4" rear wheel offset so I guess 2mm (about 1/16") is not that big of a deal.

I look forward to seeing a photo of the custom front caliper carriers you are making for the larger F/F2 rotors!

I plan on redoing the front of my bike but I've just been waiting on a stand that lifts the front of the bike from the steering area

Thank you for the post. It is nice to see the F2 wheel up front.

It is a bit hard to tell in the photos - were you able to work out the custom brake caliper mounts to allow you to install the larger diameter rotors?

Please keep us posted on the coil upgrade - looks interesting.
