Used to be able to pull a mobile version of the site up on my phone. Don't see an option for it anymore.

Yup, it's still very available, just go to wap.vfrworld.com. To switch back to the normal version, just click on the link "Non-Mobile Version".

I just tried this on my iPod Touch and can't seem to get it to work. Did the mobile client go away as a result of the site upgrade?

yeah, we have been testing the new site on iphone with great results. the old wap is no longer updated, but we are thinking of adding one more option to the light and dark scheme in the form of an optomized site that follows typical iphone styling so it would prob load single column and have the chat only on a single page instead of every page. it's in the works, but no eta yet.

Thanks for the update Reg. So am I able to access the version of the mobile client that you guys are testing or is it not available to the rest of us just yet? I'm not sure if you're saying that there is no ETA on the mobile version or just the style changes.

as of this writing, there are only two options, light and dark. They both work well on Iphone, but that is just because we have been trying to keep it smooth as we add things. There is another 'style' that may be added (probably will) that is tailored more to smart phones in that pages are in single columns and you navigate in a typical mobile site way (bigger text, etc). We don't have it yet, but I expect we'll get it before too much longer.
