Who had to settle for riding the snowblower today instead of the VFR? I did. I have ridden in all kinds of weather and temperatures, but 10" of snow kills any chance of getting out there. So as far as I'm concerned, snow sucks. It is beautiful, though!

Sorry guys, warmest day we've had here in SoCal since early Nov. 58 degrees on my way home this morning, 70 degrees and clear skies on my way in tonight. Until today, Dec. has been low to mid 40s early in the morning and high 50s low 60s early afternoon.

58 degrees would have been nice considering I had a frozen choke cable on the quadrunner!

I wish I was privileged enough to ride my bikes comfortably every month of the year.

Snow is tapering off. Unfortunately once the snow is gone there will be piles of cinders in all the wrong places when on the bike. Actually cinders do not belong anywhere while on a bike!

4 jobs I hate the most, and not necessarily in this order:

    1. Shoveling Snow
    2. Raking leaves
    3. Digging Ditches
    4. Sanding Spackle.

    I've solved these issues by

    1. Getting a 10.5 hp Snowblower.
    2. Getting a riding tractor with bags
    3. Paying someone
    4. See #3.

We got some snow in northwest Jersey, but not as much as most others in the state. It did give me a chance to jump on the kids Go-kart (6hp, does about 30 with my 230lbs). What a hoot that was fishtailing it around the neighborhood streets! Not as fast as a quad by any means, but cheap, easy to work on, and has a roll cage.

I gave up my days of shoveling with moving. Long driveway, in-laws have a snow plow. Done. I just have to get a little in front of the garage...
