Hey Fella's - Heres my naked VFR streetfighter bit off from being complete but looks a treat already =)
Hello and welcome mate! Glad to have ya aboard! Oh, and put some clothes on that girl.....she is naked! lol. Looks good! :vtr2:
I didnt know what an NT650 was till i googled the pix and you are absolutely right - although, mines tougher!! lol
The bike looks great naked! I't makes me miss my old (98) Super Hawk that I traded on a (04) RC-51 Nicky Hayden Superbike.
Thanks mate - Wasn't sure whether to go the single or the twin, but I like the twins - I'm looking at a Z9 headlight in future - but they would cost heaps I bet =)
funny I am normally ANTI streetfighter, but I guess all it takes is a good set of headlights to persuade me......... HEHEHEH. Welcome aboard buddy!
Hey, I like that, the hoses look great, the mirrors. Did you paint the exhaust black? How did you handle the instruments?
I agree with you. I normally don't like the Street Fighter look. This one looks very clean and not like it was wrecked and the owner just pulled (most) of the damaged parts off and left the rest. Well done!
Yeah, I used heat proof paint on the exhaust until I can get the $$$ to get a custom set of headers made up in polished stainless steel with an underseat muffler so I can show off the single sided swing arm =) (suffer Kwaka) lol As for the instruments, the ACEWELL 3969 digital Unit replaced the OEM cluster which gives you everything except the side stand indicator and gauges, but all the info is there when you need it, plus other functions as well. a few hicupps with the wiring, but noting major to sort out if you have the workshop manual. Hid all the looms (with a few mods) under the tank, the fuse box under the seat and modified the airbox to suit - I would have used K&N cones, but the downdraft barrels angles prevented it thanks for your comments
Welcome. I love the VFR. I'm a sucker for Street Fighters. Kristin won't let me strip down her's. my 81 CB750-four ( in progress) & 82 Magna V45 (long dead and parted out)
