look what blew through here

we don't get much weather here in Santa Barbara but its raining today here are a few pictures of the strom system that is making its way through the county...

 

Yeah, it turned white and more solid as it rolled up this way.
To the tune of 8 inches or so.

 

Yoooo ahhhhh run away run away it's a storm. A big bad rain storm to boot. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh run for cover!!!!!

You guys have to get out in the real world more often.:rofl:

 

We have 3 / 4" of snow on the ground and more on tuesday, i'll take the rain.

These look like they might be fun in the snow!

 

9 to 11 inches of snow forecasted here in the next 24 hours.

I'd rather have the rain...

 

Ride in the rain today love it but catch a cold after. Now in bed resting. Love the rain regardless.

 

From your thread title, I had expected something not weather related ...........

 

I would rather have the rain then the 27 degree stuff we have in Seattle.

 

I see your puddle picture and raise you my front lawn from September 2008. It was knee deep at the deepest part behind the tree.







Suppose to get a snow storm this week with plenty of lake effect snow. I'll update with pictures if it's a biggie.:smow:

 

I wasn't freaked out by this LITTLE weather storm.... :biggrin: I've lived where there is weather TOrnadoes, hurricanes, dust storms Monsoons, and snow storms ... It just hasn't rained here in about 9 months.. I was taking pictures cause the clouds looked cool............. Sheesh I'm just glad that it rained finally this place needs it.

 

I feel you Crusty, pictures are your "thing" right now. These guys are *dooty faces for not appreciating that like I do.

btw: Not raining now, only a few clouds. Just secured insurance for the new bike. Will pick up about 1:00, while my girl is on lunch break. Roads are dry in and around the South Bay and today is the only day this week that's not supposed to rain, not to mention my only day off. It's warming up now too, 58 degrees. :vtr2:

 

You SoCal guys do have it tough, what with the day after day sunshine and temps that vary from slightly cool to hot...

 

Who says it doesn't get cold in California! I had to stop and take a picture of my temp gauge on the way to work this morning... (6:15 AM)



And there are some wusses that cover the bike up and won't ride if it's under 50 degrees... (Putting on flame proof one piece suit)

 

LOL boy I guess we came back just in time. Rain? whats that? Ha, was 5 degrees this morning, even here that's damn cold. and setting all kinds of records, as it is right now 27 seems to be the high woo hoo

 

I feel you. It's suppose to be high of 19 F here this Thursday with lake effect snow and windchill down to 0 F. And to think I went for a ride last Thursday...started at 40F and I rode through sunshine, then rain, then sleet, then full on snow, and came out on the other side of town in full sunshine. Welcome to Michigan.

 

So I guess I shouldn't post that this morning it was 68 and partly cloudy. (or partly sunny depending on point of veiw.)

 

Dusting of snow in northern CA, Sacramento, and in to the 30's & 20's. Made for a very chilly ride to work today...but no rain. Just snow blowing off trucks on the highway like little grenades flying at you.

 

Oh, don't worry. My buddy in Houston already let me know when I told him I was putting bags of sand in my truck yesterday.
