I like how the pic from VFRW was a gay old guy in Peter Pan garb.

    Talk about representation.

Maybe we need to start a poll. Does the man in the peter pan suit represent in part what the members of vfrworld are like?

Even if I wanted a new VFR1200, like cebuVFR I can't afford a new one right now.

Maybe in a few years I'll find a nice used one like I did my 6th gen. 3 years ago.

is the $15,999 for the manual one or the auto? The photo of the tag that Cebu took shows both options in the transmission section.

Guys you will be pleased to know that the VFR 1200 does not have VTEC or any cylinder on/off tech (sorry for my ignorance of the proper technical term). Thats good news to most of you right ?

The $15999 tag is base, you shift with one clutch. Mr. Honda charges more for "touchless" double-clutch-Peter-Pan-can-fly job. Then there is the extra charge for top case, for side cases, for ....

31mpg???? In addition to a 4.9 gallon tank???? I was willing to overlook everything else had this machine retained the range of the previous gens. On my 06, I've been able to squeeze out 239 miles out of a tank as I was soiling myself.

    Had I wanted a 140 mile range, I would have bought a CBR 1000.

I don't mean to bash the 1200. Down the line when Honda decides to enlarge the gas tank...we'll see.
