    Four step process...

    1. Get another computer.
    2. Support her Triumph purchase and let her get used to it.
    3. Then let her ride your viffer.
    4. Help her sell the Triumph and get another VFR.

Kind of always wanted a Triumph Street Triple or Speed Triple. Love that triple!

    I like the Triumphs too.

    Get another computer.

Nothing wrong with having to take her Triumph for a spin once in a while. As far as I'm concerned motorcycles and women are like icecream. Variety is the spice of life!

Log into the router, block all sites that she accesses that have anything to do with Triumph. Problem solved.

OH wow, I'd say let her go at, then trade rides now and then. Not to rain on the VFR but the ST is pretty nice, I'd say she's a smart gal and hang on tight. She''ll see the light later. just cool to read there are wife's out there that like this sort of thing.

and I'll second the second computer thing.

IMO the triumph sprint ST 1050 is a viable alternative to the 6th Gen VFR.

Ive ridden one and have to say it was great.

let her get one and then you can enjoy it too...(i recommend caspian blue).

i have to agree w/you about the how nice the trumpets are. she has a daytona 675 (crappy for touring) and it's great on the right roads or track. the I-3 makes a fantastic sound just diff. from the v-4. anything is better than 'potato, potato, potato, ad nauseum...

Cheap laptop, wireless router, good security software and you're golden.

As for the triple...well, some people just can't be helped. :frown:

Just kidding! Triumphs are nice bikes, but watch out for heat being dumped on the legs on the ST. I think newer models are better on that issue, but from what I've heard fit and finish is still a notch below Honda.

When I was shopping for my VFR a few yrs. ago I came across a leftover Daytona 955i. Nice bike and it did intrigue me for a week or so.

Hello. I'm the wife. Sparky can't get up this time. You'll be dealing with me and my Triumph clan from now on. BTW, the Sprint smoked the VFR!

since she is cheating on you, I would wait till she gets in her escalade, and beat the windows with a 5 iron and pretend you had nothing to do with it when she hits the tree at the end of the driveway.

    Ouch!!!

    Sparky,next time duck.:chairshot:

Since she's giving you a bit of sass about her Sprint smoking your VFR,walk casually out to the garage and unplug one of her spark plug wires.
Leave it hanging loosely on the spark plug.
She won't be so smug about her Triumph's power advantage anymore.:biggrin:

And dude, fer da cripes sakers whatever you do don't let her see my post either. :scared:
My noggin's allergic to cast iron skillets too! LOL.:pound::pound::pound:
