is anyone killing the spam threads?

    Topic says it all really? We seem to be getting slammed with pricks joining and then posting Russian crap. Is anyone killing them off? They seem to be getting more frequent...

    if you notice a spam thread feel free to PM them and they will take care of it
    they are usually pretty good at cleaning that stuff up

    We are killing an average of anywhere from three to ten threads a day. They must have some resources and some rotating IP addresses because we keep banning them. They are not bots, as someone (a person) needs to enter the security word for Vbulletin. Unforunately, these f'ers are focusing on VFRW and are not giving up. I don't really understand it, as nobody can understand them on here, unless this person(s) is trying to lay a trap for you to click on a link. Just click the report thread button for now. It is not like we are here every second of the day, but if you report a thread, one of us will get the message.

    I have reported a pile of them. A translation from the Russian indicates they are "selling" some sort of program or device that supposedly allows you to see what is being texted or picture mssgd from another cell phone. If you click on any of the linked text or pics in these postings it will try and download something to your computer. I have not yet gotten a fix on exactly what it is trying to download. So, best advice? Stay away from them except to click on the "report" button.
