i think you need to see a doctor for that stuff.

Anyone from N.Va riding this weekend? I'm planning on taking my 87 out for it's first post-restoration ride this coming Sunday. A couple of friends and I were thinking about heading out towards Sperryville? Anywhere where there is minimal traffic.

Ahem....guess everyone stowed their bikes for the winter??

Some of us have been riding more than the summertime. It has been difficult with the weather being iffy and the days so short. Minus the deer risk though this has been some of the best riding weather while the sun is out. Had a beautiful ride Sunday, low traffic, sunny, and in the mid 50's. Tires were staying warm enough for some responsible fun on 211 too. And with the condensed daylight hours I am forced to hammer out the miles with less BSing.

And its still warm in FLA for a couple trackdays next weekend! Enjoy the weather before the snow and salt onslaught and watch out for the holiday tourists!

I really wanted to meet up with you for last sundays ride. But my hang over was also trouble with a banged up shoulder. Apparently my drunk ass feel down my basement steps and did something to my shoulder. This weekend looks to be hit or miss. I'm still gonna try and make it out at some point on Saturday or Sunday. Hopefully traffic doesn't play a factor.

0930 at Starbucks in Short Pump. Or 1030 at 522 and 711.

Theres been lots of "presence" this holiday weekend, so keep the speeds down and watch out for forest rats.

I'll be riding there next weekend at Jennings! But the forecast keeps changing from cold to rain to warm and back around. We've got two days on the track so I'm sure one of them will be decent.

The ride yesterday was great. Didn't see a single Smokey, only a couple deer (which is a couple too many) and it was still warm enough to hang out at the "Star Cafe" post sundown. No close calls, lots of kneedragging, and minimal traffic. ~300miles total. Only 1 mile of highway. The rest was twisty backroads and tight, clean mountain switchbacks.

I really wish I didnt get a late start on Sunday. I would have loved heading down south! I even missed riding with BP. I did the usual route out west and ran up 211. Surprisingly there was very little traffic on much of the roads and 211 was clear of cars and debris. I think I only had to pass three cars the entire time I was on the mountain. And I only saw two cops and they were already busy with others on the side of the road. Didn't log many miles but none the less I had a good time.
