IMO gophers idea of camping might be high camp or low camp or he fell on his head whilst wearing a helmet of his own construction made of shredded newsprint and Elmers glue finished with $.99 rattlecan paint from WalMart.

Not bike camping or camping in the sense of having no less than 74.5% of all one's earthly possessions neatly packed into a Winnebago, I did the military Desert, Seaside and Jungle Survival Schools. The Jungle School was in Panama, is a bitch and monkey meat ain't all that good. The Seaside School was on San Clemente Island. Great fishing. I went as an associate instructor for the next three years.

Bike camping. Sure, but not hauling a freaking trailer. It gives me bad dreams to think about even one that is engineered and not tossed together like some backyard tinkertoy project if one were to jacknife.

Actually i coated my helmet with rubber spray.

didnt do it thick enough as a bunch of it pealed off by the wind.

 

when did you go through the Jungle school? just wondering I was stationed down there for a bit...

 

Just one. but its REEALLLLLYYYY FREAKIN BIG.

i use it in my coffee, it doesent make the coffee change colors.

 

I really didn't go to any of those schools and made it all up to sound heroic.
