Low mileage '02 or mid mileage '07, which is best?

    2 year old bikes are going to go cheap,but I love the 5th Gen. 01 with 4200mi and I'm in love ! these Vfr's are fun to roll.

    my 07 has 11k miles on it now, and it runs better than it did when i left the showroom with it just over a year ago. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    As others have said, go for the 07. By now it should be nicely bedded in, they mostly sorted the wiring issues and implemented the less manic Vtec cut-in/off threshold making it nicer to ride.

    Haggle hard - with the VFR1200 on the way, dealers here in Europe are offering loads of deals - free services and throwing in free hard luggage kits to try and clear stock - so don't take their first offer.

    Oh and post up some pictures if you decide to buy something!

    I got my '07 RWB with saddle bags for $6000 + tax and title. You should try to get the seller of the '07 down under 6K.
