My 07 25th book says Inspect at 16,000 replace if necessary & replace at 32,000. I would not think you have a plug issue with so few miles unless you have a fuel issue.

I have an 06 white with 21Kmiles on it. I just replaced the plugs. It is about a 20 min task. The plugs will cost you about $50-70 a set depending where you buy them.

Now... The manual says to inspect at 16K miles and replace at 32K miles. My issue is that If I inspected them and need to replace I need to have the plugs handy. Since I had the plugs and going through all that work I am replacing not inspecting.

You only have 6+K on your bike so it is unlikely that you need to change plugs. You should look somewhere else first. Fuel etc.

then I guess i should keep looking for my problem then, my LR(#1cyl) plug was fowled badly but only that plug at 4k kms (2000miles about) I run good fuel (not always perimium but it gets a tank every two of mid grade) but it just carboned up bad. Then i found out there is no cross convertion for my plugs and they are $25cnd a peice. I cleaned it for the season and placed it in LF and it helped, but I have been procrastinating removing LR again as it could be plugged again.

Maybe you have a faulty coil pack or bad compression in that cyl, its kind of odd you'd run rich on just that one cyl.

Just did mine on my Blackbird 38000 miles, still looked good and I indexed them very close with no shims. Iridiums I got on Ebay for $33 a set.
