There are little yellow spiders livin in my dash. the high beam indicator light doesn't seem to scare them none.

tho i haven't seen them much since it started getting cold.

Must be the Spiders From Mars. Call David Bowie for advice.

Saw a small black spider on my dash at work a couple days ago. He scurried down into the forks area before I could squish him tho. Hope he enjoyed my 70 mph freeway jaunt a few minutes later.

That would suck if they started crawling out onto your hands while you were riding. Even worse if they crawled up your arms and bit you while you were going 100 pulling a trailer with your wife on back without gear.

I thought I was the only one!

Got a dead one that is under the plastic shield of the gauge cluster. He will stay there for the life of the cycle as far as I can tell. Unless of course I die in a fiery front end collision, and the spider is thrown to safety. If the forensic team tries to blame it on "spider attack", you guys will know the real story. (but don't tell the cops! it sounds like a good way to make the news.)
State of Kentucky is the Spider Capitol of the World. Seen more, and more types of spiders while camping in Kentucky than I have even seen in museums. I wanted to collect specimens but did not have any tools or storage. Next trip.

    Copy- never going to Kentucky.

One time I was riding out in central/west Cali during December and came across 2 Tarantula's right in my line. I mean I know they are just trying to warm up, but get out of the road! I had to double back to make sure it wasn't trying to hitch hike on my bike. thank god it was still there, otherwise there would have been a 954 still in that canyon....

Spiders are good. They eat lots of other creepy crawlers.

I hate spiders. Don't mind all the other creepy crawlers, but spiders make my skin crawl.

I once had one inside my helmet, hanging from his thread, right between my eyes. I truly thought I was going to crash and die. Nearly ripped my ears off taking my lid off.

    I hate spiders.

(And thanks for the heads up on KY).

I've been living here in Ky for quite a while now and havent noticed it to be much worse that other areas I've lived for spiders. I'd say its about the same as most areas, unless you live in Antarctica or Northern Siberia

OMG never going to Kentucky :tape2:

I've encountered some GIANT ones here, thankfully the dogs love to eat them for me. They love eating the moths too, bless their hearts.

Yucka! I don't mind the tiny ones, but the big hairy nasty ones creep me out too. I can pick up snakes that wander into the yard, but I'd rather have another gunfight than have a tarantula fight. Gross, gives me the willies. Glad there's none of those here.

I'd put some double sided carpet tape on my bars to stop them from getting on me when I'm riding if I had a little colony in my dash. Maybe mama's not a cute little yellow one, but a giant, fangy beasty waiting to get ya! Ewwww!
