Hey all, 10 days ago I did the EBay thing and got a New (leftover) 2007 VFR at a Local, well to Georgia, dealer and got it for $7899 w the bags.

I rented one in Munich Germany in 2002 with ABS and it was a hoot riding the alps for 5 days between Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland. Rode 1900 miles on that bike and had a blast. It had the biggest Krauser bags I've ever seen, I mean BIG. Only scraped one wall with them on some hair-pins up a mountain; a bus was coming down and he cut corner. I've been dreaming on one since. Actually had an '03 ST on order for 13months and cancelled as it wasn't coming in and ordered a VFR from same dealer and it was 3 months coming so opted out and got  an 03 Glide; OK let the blasting begin- I know what was I thinking  but the price was right and always wanted a Harley, but now I got over it!
Trashed the HD in 05 in Tx and bought a SilverWing to commute with. BTW- I have been on GW's for 38 years so it just seemed right to get a VFR now. Bought an 08 Truimph Scrambler last yeat and been having a blt off road with it, besides it looks cool.

So now the VFR which I've been following since I saw the 07 RWB at the Hoot and their coming out of the crates in droves. Was going to ride to AR but vound one with bags in Dalton GA and I won it. Don't know why I waited soooo long. Yippppeee.

I've only got 400 miles on it and it hasn't been to the No GA mountains yet but the weekend is coming. Let the Mods begin.

Welcome, sidehack, to the fun house!
Don't let the loonies scare you!
(And don't let Rollin, or his family, ride your bike!):vader:

I'm in the East Cobb area and ride whenever work, and family life, allow!
I did a short ride this past sunday up through Elijay and then over Fort Mountain for some twisties.

Keep an eye out for upcoming rides, although the local weather has sucked lately!
