I'm getting better by the week. I was as of last week out of my cast, so walking started to be interesting, funny how you lose muscle then ask it to do what you once took for granted, once I refound my footing I then in turn found a new freedom I CAN DRIVE MYSELF! Whoppie!!!! man what the last 2 months where all about, Crazy, Hands are getting better I might be able to pull a cclutch in. shoulder is still impacted, but getting loser. I still have a good month + before I'll be back to 80%, But Hell yea I'm itching for a new bike, then to have the funds too. well not for the 1200.. but enough to put a good dent in one, talk about a major pull. So to play it safe even though it's very hard for the moment, and since it's lousy out, can't ride anyway, might as well enjoy the dreaming of what can become.

    *shrug*
any bike you run into something head on with is probably a one crash bike. Having that airbag could just save your hide

I kinda like how the 1200 looks. Its different for sure, but it grows on ya.

why could I see the air bag going off at an inopportune time like when I'm still flying over the bars, and me being shot off like Wiley E. Coyote up & over said vehicle?

That is pretty cool. I think it would offer some considerable protection especially at lower speeds where t-boning into a car (or a deer) can still cause lots of pain. I would get ABS on my next bike, and I would certainly consider coughing up some additional cash for an air bag.

That won't happen if you wear the included seatbelt.

That was a good read. First time I read an article that went into detail on the VFR1200T and crumple zones. We'd been talking about the airbag systems and the safety designs for months at school, but that's the first time I've seen it in print. I'll have to share that with the guys.
