Anybody interested in a free Harley? I hear it's the one that was built especially for Elvis.

No, she doesn't have a bike. I've been looking for her one. Thought a gen 2 just like mine would be a perfect 1st bike

you are aware that this bike can take alot of work to make rideable right?

iv got some plastic but none on it other than the front cowl. brackets will ahve to be made.

it isent sparking. If you can figure that out itl probably run great, i dono as when i put the carbs on it i had no spark.

Yeah, I have all winter

Plastics aren't a problem, I can source those out over the internet, and the electronics shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I'm lucky enough to have a friend that owns a bike shop, so any help needed is just a few blocks away...and free! lol

Yes Pogo there is a Santa Cause

Yes he said as they presented the Brooklyn Bridge to the owners of Pogo land, where they will come and remove it on his trailer and wash it and rebuild it all for a winters project.:behindsofa::tea::first::drinkers::drinkers::crazy::crazy:

goforaride, why not give the bike to someone that could help the whole community give it to jamie then think he could start making kits and performance upgrades for the 2nd gen VFR's its your bike do as you please with it all i am saying why not watch it take off and help others out with there bikes, as for a the guy with the wife who wants a first bike dude not dogging on you or her but man get something small and wieghts less then a VFR a 750 is alot of bike for a novice the ninja 250's are gfreat for a learner bike or if you want to stay with the interceptors then get a VF500 another great learner bike, again its y'all'es call i just wanted to drop by and give my 2 cents.

Ya know, that's actually not too bad an idea, IF Jamie was up for it

I never said she was a novice. I said it would be HER FIRST BIKE. She's ridden Harleys, has ridden my Suzuki 750 Katana, and ridden my VFR700F just fine...she's just never OWNED her own bike. Thus, making this HER FIRST BIKE.

Man, that's exactly what I would do! I've been chomping at the bit to get an 86 or 87 VFR for a few years now but can't seem to find one that fits the bill (read: is cheap enough for my budget). There are a couple of things that the 86-87 guys want to do with their bikes and I'm sure that I could help them out, I just need a bike to work on!

I'm not trying to start a debate - I'm totally cool with whatever Mike decides to do.

""by the way, squerrel man deemed this bike as the ugliest bike he has seen.""

actually what i said is that yours was the worst looking VFR i ever saw that was still running.

I've seen worse VFRs....... but they were all in junkyards.

    ..........................

Please hook up with Jamie as he could add tons of improvements to our gen 2 bikes.
