Something weird happened to my last try. Seems it was un-viewable for some reason.

How bout a link to the last post in a thread, as well as who posted it. Sometimes it's nice to go to there instead of just the last page. Especially in threads that you follow closely, and the last page is quite long.

    Anyway... love the site!
Thank you for your time and effort.

    Mike.

have you tried viewing in hybrid mode then just clicking on the last post in the preview pane at the top? It's not quite as fast as the way you are suggesting, but it might work for you. I feel your pain on viewing the last post (esp when I try to read page 40 of the thread about the last BBQ we had at my place) but Im not sure if we can do it or not. I'll see what I can find out.

You are aware of the "view first unread" button in the upper left corner of each thread? Not sure if that is what you are looking for, but it sounds close.

I have no idea what any of you are talking about but I heard BBQ in there somewhere...so this must be a good thread. I will stay posted. But what button should I click once this thread has too many posts?

On the main page, have you tried just clicking on the title "Recent Threads" in the bottom right? That's what works best for me, but everyone likes to search differently.

Hybrid mode is pretty good... thanks.
I just got so used to being able to click on "Last post by:" on vfrdiscussion. You can click on that, or click on the link to the user's profile page.
Every time I'm on another forum I always look for it, and miss it!

Thanks again for all of the time and effort everybody puts in to keep this site great!
