At least not yet... Hey I have an armouir that you can go through and talk to a lion if you want. But you may have to take a "drink" to make you taller or smaller. Then there is the white rabbit and the chesser cat your going to have to deal with. And if you happen to find Toto I know a girl thats been looking for him. She use to live in Kansas. There wasnt any good roads there either. ( cough, cough, puff, puff, pass.)

CA is perfect! Great roads and for the one or two earthquakes once in a while... who cares?! I lived in San Jose for 5 years and there was never an earthquake near me and I only once felt a very small tremble... Only problem with that is, even though the salaries are high, the cost of living there is incredibly higher. But, have roommates like the rest of the peeps there and you'll be fine!! :)

You forgot the tornadoes in the mid west.

California is great for riding, but forget about defending yourself and your loved ones...or feeding them.

Does your assessment of the local deer population factor into your thinking?

    Stay out of Kalifornia

You are absolutely right about the West Coast, especially Kalifornia.

We have fires weekly during the summer and mud slides on all the great

    motorcycle roads during the winter.

Earthquakes?........after about 30 of them you get use to it. It is a strange

feeling while riding your bike but if you have a good suspension it's

easy to handle. You just have to keep a sharp eye out for falling boulders

while riding in the hills. It's a great way to practice your counter-steering.

Mudslides?.....not too bad if your riding with knobby tires. You do get your

knees muddy when you are hanging off but no big deal.

Expensive?.......if you don't mind paying the highest prices in the country

for ga$ then come on in. I save gas money by turning off my motor and

coasting downhill (while dodging earthquake boulders).

So........come one, come all. It's a hoot!

You never mentioned Colorado and Utah. 2 very beautiful states with a little bit of everything. When you get tired of the curves you can go play in the dirt!

Suggestion (if I may): Stop hitting the Koalas or, at the very least, use a condom or two. (So, bestiality is legal down under?)

All of the deer around Susanville live in town, so the twisties are virtually deer-free.
