VFR newbie needs help- new (to me) bike done broke!!!

I've owned this 2003 bike for 21 hours and the first issue to arise is water leaking from the exhaust (see pic). Any ideas what this could be?
The bike has approx. 52k miles on it and it runs strong. I've put about 100miles on it and the H2O Temp stays stable between 175 and 215; Oil level seems to stay stable- but on start up when cold there will be about a tablespoon or more of H2O on the ground dribble out under where the picture shows (just behind the CAT), and also it will spit some out the Remus Exhausts.

It is condensation from the humidity. It is normal until it gets up to tempeture and boils off but to be on the safe side check your oil and make sure it is not milky in color. if you oil is clouded then you may have some serious problems and should not drive the bike until you get it sorted out.

IT'S normal for new owners to worry, but relax, mate, you have a HONDA.

Your car does the same thing on startup, water coming from exhaust.

But check your charging voltage, you have a Honda

 

im not seeing the clamp for your slip on... am i missing something?

 

It is not a problem. The CAT has platinum sulfide and that turns exhaust into Co2 and water. It is normal. If it is not draining you could drill a small 1/8 inch hole as long as it is not next to something affected by heat. The CAT uses platinum sulfide to turn CO2 into water.
Next time you drive down the road look at all the water dripping out of most car exhaust pipes.

Good catch. If that were addressed, there probably wouldn't be anything dripping under the cat. It would all go out the exhaust like it should.

anyways the h2o doesnt really have anything to do with the cat or the platinum sulfide etc. its just basic chemistry.
hydrocarbons(gasoline)+oxygen=co2&h2o and heat(energy)
if you dont believe me, come see me start my bike. ive got a motad header(no cat) and for the first couple minutes my bike is warming up it spits out water like an outboard boat motor.
my old truck did the same, and it had headers and straight pipes, with no cats...
also it does have to do with condensation. when the h2o is leaving the engine it is in vapor form(water vapor). when you first start your bike every thing is still cold. the engine the header the exhaust, its all still well below the temperature of the vapor. when the hot exhaust gases make contact with the cooler walls of the exhaust system, it condenses. this is why you normally see water coming out in the morning, when you first start the bike, but not after everything is warmed up and hot...

p.s. do not drill a hole, that would just be a good stating point for corrosion and probably wouldnt sound too good either... just focus on getting that slip on point sealed up. i.e. gaskets and clamps...
