I like the GPZ turbo and the yellow CBX. Very cleanly done.

Like everyone else said, if you are not in it to make money then it's a worthwhile project. I recently started a rebuild on an 87 700. It's fun and I know I will be proud to show it off when I am done. I am already into it for about what it would be worth to sell and I still need to figure out how I want it painted....
I plan on keeping it for a long time though so it is more desire and pride driving my rebuild.
Post pictures when you get done!!!

They are solid bikes if you take care of them. Rectifier and front forks are the weak spots. Do some research here and you will find the info you need.

Make sure your upper brace is not shot...they are a bitch to straighten. Do you have any pics of the bike in its current condition?

I snapped some pics of a few of the parts I have here:

    Nice bikes!

I currently have started working on a 1984 Ninja GPZ900. I am not far enough along to see if its worth it...yet. But if so I'll post up a thread.

I've been going through the wiring harness and some things need cleaned up AND the damn thing sat for two years inside a garage, but the engine won't crank due to the cylinders sticking so I flooded the cylinders with PB Blaster.

I will try and get some pics up this afternoon of the bike in its current state. No, the upper brace is trash. I have straitened many that are just tweeked but this is crushed. Not worried about the forks since they will be replaced with something more modern. As far as the rectifier..will wait and see.
