I have never agreed with Photoradar. But behind the intersection cameras 200%, How many times have we collectively lambasted cagers on this site when we read of a biker getting smoked by one running a yellow or red at an intersection.

In my jurisdiction the photo ticket goes to the registered owner. Even if it is Mother Theresa driving in the photo. If the RO does not want to pay the fine, then he must cooperate with the authorities in identifying the driver. Ultimately, you are the registered owner, you are responsible. Don't want that responsibility? Don't lend out your keys. Someone takes your vehicle without your consent. Cooperate with the authorities. Send the bastard to jail.

I wonder why when they followed him and watched him put that mask on while driving, they did not stop him and tag him for Driving Without Due Care, or Imprudent Driving , or whatever is available that way in that state. Seems like a no brainer to me. Fuck with the system and you stand to get burned sometime.

I'm sure the police have given up on the minor infraction that he yields everyday and their probably concentrating on the whole picture (no pun intended) now. There's more to their method than meets the eye.

that was exactly my point. if that is a true statement by the the authorities then it makes no sense whatsoever to not stop him and cite accordingly. Otherwise, methinks something is afoul in Denmark...

Not having lived in Az for a while, I'm curious, when I lived in PHO the cameras were being installed and right away came the people selling light diffusing license plate covers that could more or less make it tough for the camera to read the numbers, Never did find out if they actually worked.

If you live in Pho you know how people drive there, big grid laid out in almost string straight lines and the big problem when I was there was people running the red lights and crashing big time since every city street invited hauling ass. The first cameras were about getting light runners. I am really curious if the newer cameras are really helping curb the high speeds. I remember one time coming home from school to my studio apartment and there was a car upside down in the landscaping in front of my complex, and this was in North Pho.....damn , how fast do you have to be going in town to flip your frickin car? heehheeheee

But, now I'm wondering if this fellow with the monkey mask isnt doing what the guy that cuts the boot from your car in the UK does, basically, making a statement out of what he feels is too much control for the sake of safety? Or rather, feels that the whole thing is about money?

As Crusty says, I would not drive a friends car in such a reckless manner as to invite camera action, however, rental cars are an entirely different matter....haahhaaahaaa....nothing runs like a rental

Yeah I have to think so because if you look at the article he's accumulated an insane amount of tickets like 90+ tickets. If they were really all about safety then he would've been in a crash by now seeing as how "speed kills"

not on your life man i would fight it to the last. That is my rigth, if they truly wanted to get me it would be a long and protracted ordeal. Especialy if the charges are expensive enough i have nothing to loose but time. Just becouse the police enjoy a position of relative authority does not mean they can do as they please, at the end of the day they are only servants of the law and must be held acountable to it the same as anyone else.
