Hello all, Just joined vfrworld. I have a 02 vfr vtec which I have had for the last 3 years. I have taken it to europe a few times and have enjoyed every minute of the trips. I live in Ireland about 20 miles north of Dublin in a small town called Balbriggan. I also have a MV Agusta F4 which i also enjoy. So hello to all onboard and keep the rubber side down.
tell us about the mv i haven't known anyone to have that bike... 197 topspeed... is it really as fast as they say? can you post pics and pour me a pint...
welcome! and most importantly..... :drinker: please send more guinness.....mmmmmm +1 on the MV pics..
Welcome aboard. I have this silly idea of organizing a European VFR Group ride sometime in the next couple of years. Great to have another contact on that side of the Pond.
MV is a fantastic bike and yes it really is that fast. I have had at it at 175 mph but never got the chance to push it to the limit. Handling is exellent and you can corner very fast on the thing. The ride is hard and can be very uncomfortable if you are on it for a while. The VFR is much more suited to touring but can be used as a sports bike as well which is why I will always have one. Looking forward to seeing the new one if it ever happens. Attached a few pics (I hope it worked). but sorry can't attach a few pints:smile:
A big, warm welcome to an Irish cousin from all down under. Q. Did you get to see a favorite son of Sydney (Tadghe Keneally) play in the Gaelic football Grand Final? We want him back!!!
