Hmm, I just might have to spring for this one instead, but it being a new Arai model, not sure trying another version on will tell me how good it will fit.

most folks (not all) are either Shoei headed (rounder) or Arai Headed (longer). Before you buy anything, try one on. The best helmet is the one that fits - first and foremost.

on your Shoei, I would email their euro distribution for a Kenan. They will be reluctant to sell you one because they dont have a DOT certitification, but I would volunteer to them in your initial email that this is for "COLLECTION AND DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY" and see if they bite.

    SHOEI Europe

If you need it, I have cronies in the UK we can ship to/from.

    hahahaha...that be you bro...

hey i heard back from our local guys...they dont bring the sufoglou helmet into NZ....:frown:

as he's a euro rider in WSB i guess he doesnt have the name recognition here.
(altho i knew who he was...you only have to watch the WSB on TV)

so, on the Arai sizing thing.

when i got my New corsair i went straight to the same size as my old one and VOILA...perfect fit.

so even tho 7 years difference in manufacture it was still a perfect fit.

this should mean that as long as the test helmet size fitting is comfortable you should be able to transfer the size to the right model...in theory.

BTW....the Shoei XR11 isnt out here yet either....

    due out in October apparently...

sometimes importers will delay release to dump as much of the old model as they can prior to the next one hitting store shelves

I've been called Ray sometimes Hey, but what I go by is Jay

emailed Euro Shoei via the UK link, so now it's a wait and see. in the mean time that RR5 gp Arai is starting to look more and more the helmet, even thou I'm not a Arai type a guy. it's starting to grow on me, next trick is to find an RX7 Aria in L in stock at a shop. the two dealers here locally don't carry them :frown:
