If "Dear Abby" was a MAN.....
I've never had a bike before, but MY guy Toni from Extreme Cycle Toys, said the Abusa was the coolest bike out there, girls love it so he got me to buy it. I just started riding and, now I'm just looking for people to ride with. I'm having a hard time taking corners and stuff but it's all good. So I'd like to go pick up some chicks. Do you know how I can pick up a chic? Do these bikes have reverse transmission because it's hard backing it out of my garage.

    Dear noob,
Back your bike INTO the garage, and don't see Toni anymore.

I bet Toni forgot to mention that "bad azz hajabusa" requires a motorcycle endorcement and insurace as well. I just hope his death is quick and painless.

Toni also forgot to mention the bikes are speed limited too I guess.

I've gotten pulled over twice in the last 4 weeks and when I asked the cop what the problem was, I got the same answer both times. We've had a guy run from us on a bike just like yours (which I take to mean - red). I would guess it's even worse if you ride a Hyabusa and are a normal rider. I mean there has to be a few, right?

I have a feeling that this guy won't need riding buddies. He won't be around long enough. reverse? really? leave that to the touring bikes & the wife's Spyder. Then back into the garage....

I've read/heard plenty of the squid stories, but on Sunday I saw a guy on the shiny new Hayabusa, stretched 6 inches or so, all chromed out, wearing his helmet, t-shirt, shorts and sandals.

It was the first time I've actually ever seen the sandals. I couldn't believe it. (I was riding with dude I met on that day - he was on an Aprilla RSV4R. Nice Bike!).

He is having trouble taking corners and he wants to put someone on the back who has probably been on a bike less then him? Smart guy. Maybe he can donate his brain to science to see what makes people so dumb.

Unfortunately I see this all the time. Seems to be popular moto-attire with the college crowd. Saw a girl monday with that exact same gear on a 500 Ninja. $80,000 of tuition getting dumped into a 10 cent brain.

What I really wanna know is how that Aprilia sounded? Is it the bad-ass V4 sound that I'm imagining? (I'm imagining it being pretty bad-ass).

HAHAHAHAHA! That was great! This whole thread is great! Thanks for the laughs, I needed it.

(AND an RSV4 on American soil being ridden around already? Wow, I bet the guys over at the Ape forum would be real interested to hear that.)

buddy had one just before that movie "torque" came out..got rid of it shortly thereafter. It ran real hot (I think it was a true sperm killer) but handled and sounded great!

That had to be the RSVR, NOT the RSV4. The V4 is a BRAND NEW bike this year, and will not be available in the US until at the earliest October.

Echo I'm under the assumption that there are going to be a few of the RSV4's available and out and about this weekend.

Wouldn't surprise me if a dealer took delivery of one early and either had it out for a test or someone is really good friends with the shop and got their hands on it early.

Also, I PM'd Pilskin about it. The guy isn't from the states. Its quite possibly that he purchased it overseas and brought it with him as well.
