Yo! is anyone going the AMA race in Jersey?

Is someone going to pick a rally point to meet for breakfast on Sunday morning?

 

I am skeered of track days, the VFR is too good a bike to ride on the track.

 

Is anyone familiar with the parking situation at the race track?

Dude........well you still have to park don't you? My friends are going down with there RV but they told me that they wont let me in without a pass. I just wanted to know if there is regular parking. Hey Steve do you think Zemke will let me park it in his Honda trailer?

 

Go ahead and park, I was thinking of dropping in the supersport race just so I could piss on the Buell with my VFR.........:first:

 

If Buell is racing then I am staying home Is Sebastian coming with you or he just going to ride dirt bikes with you? I am heading down to the track bright and early tomorrow, some of my buddies were there today and I could hear the bikes screaming down the track through the cell phone :thumbsup: I heard that there is maybe going to be an all womans race! Does anyone know if this is true?

 

I just got back from Lightning Bolt raceway and man was it awesome. I have never been to track let alone getting to witness some really cool AMA pilots during qualifications. I meet my bud Anthony and we headed down to the sticks of NJ so Pocono and Seb you should feel right at home ! I recommend taking exit 3 and NOT exit 4 as the directions say on the website unless you want to drive/ride an extra 40 minutes like I did. If you are using a NAV system then it should take you via exit 3 on the Turnpike...I hope. Anyway all in all it was a very cool experience and I cant wait to do a track day in the near future. I think there had to be at least 20 teams present today screaming around the track. I also saw two other 5th gens parked in the mc parking area, was it anyone from here? I also saw a 4th gen on the Turnpike going south at about 5:30, it hard to miss that gigantic NACA duct! Anyway I am 99% sure I am going again tomorrow and I am definitely going Sunday. Anyone else going?

You can come hang out in the pits with me and friends at NJMP-Lightning on 9/21 for a NESBA track day if you want.

Thought about, even have crash space in trenton, but pit pass tickets are $$$. Going to vintage car rally in CT tomorrow as alternative. OTOH, never been to 'big' ama event so I'm kind talking outta my ass...
