Where do you go when you can't take it anymore?

The last few months I just get on my bike and drive with no destination in mind. The results have been mixed. How about you? Where is your holy ground, your nirvana?

Just about any country road, making .75 past light speed, uh, the speed limit...

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of fuel before I can think straight. It doesn't matter where I ride, just that I do.

Same here... I just go riding pretty much every day(retired, but also did when I was working)..... I take roads in my area(200m radius) that I've never been on before.... and every time I see a road that doesn't say "road ends" I'll take that one... If I get lost, I'll pull out my gps and hit the home button.... that way I can ride all day without worrying about how to get back.

Hi, Monk! I do the exact same thing. I used to plan a route, but at some point I'd see a road that looked interesting, and that was the end of the plan. I mix it up, too. Mostly back roads, but sometimes it's great to get on the Interstate and open it up. They say speed kills, but it also heals.

I've been feeling like that lately too. Only I get the feeling that I need to get a Kawasaki KLR 650 and just go and go and go and go. Maybe to South America, or wherever. Just away, far, far away.
