Yeah I heard of it the performance specs sound really impressive considering the cost along with a 3-year warranty. Only thing I don't like about it is the looks... BMW needs to steal a designer or two from Ducati.

Now if only it had a 27 inch seat height, then they'd be on to something!

Yeah, the numbers are very impressive; but the bike is FUGLY from the front, what's up with the queer headlights? My wife calls it 'the wasp'. They have a RW&B, but it's mostly white, with just a little R&B. Supposed to be the race colors, but isn't even close to the race paint scheme.

The bike just doesn't have enough soul for me; too machine like, I don't know, like a Singer sowing machine. I still think the RSV4 is MUCH prettier...

I think its cool as hell, looks different and when you see it you know what it is at a distance. the electronics are state of the art, this bike has truely broke the japanese cookie cutter mold. It looks more gp then street . good job Bmw for the first bike like this, they made, awesome. 5 years from now maybe the japanese will finally release the gp bikes out to the streets, with cheaper components of course..just think the first gsxr 1985 started the race bike(street version) this one, the v4 duc and the aprilla are getting the gp stuff closer v5's are on the way....................

The look of the machine is quite good, IMO...but i would reserve judgement about the actual performance until i got to ride one....guess i'll never know

Think it'll be sensational and rumours here put it somewhere the price range of a new 'Blade to R1.

Question will be how well it stacks up against a standard RSV4 ( non Factory ) in price and performance. ?
