Summer bbq?

Cool, sounds good to me! (You're talking 9/12 right?) I'll get ya directions and stuff sometime prior by PM. No worries about bringing anything, thanks tho - just you and the bike. Looks like you have a ways to go so we won't make the time to meet for the ride ride real early. Meet up in the am, ride, back to my place for some grub and r & r.

 

What time would you expect the AM ride to be? I was thinking I'd just head up Sat. morning but may come up Friday night if you are rolling out at the crack of dawn. It's probably a +/- 3 hour ride for me.

 

Can we camp in your backyard?

If it gets late, or like BBWong, you want to start early?

OK guys, 9/12 looks good for me. I'm in for the a.m. ride but I won't be able to hang out much afterwards as it is my wife's B-day w/e and we will be celebrating on Saturday afternoon/evening.

Viff - I'm in Suffield so it sould take me exactly 5 minutes to get to your house :smile:

Given our proximity, we can ride whenever :thumbsup:

Very generous to arrange this at your house!! We need to get together and ride, even after work during the week. BTW - I think I spotted you riding up rt. 168 (Mt. Road) a couple weeks ago.

RWB VFR sighting turning from rt. 2 on to 78 near Pawtucket, CT/Westerly, RI. You really don't see them often. Come to think of it, it's the only one I've ever seen on the road besides the one that's under me :biggrin:

 

I just PMd 'BILLTHEHILL' he's in Enfield with an 07' ABS. Hopefully he'll chime in!

 

Hey there Peter, good to hear from ya again! Yeah, we gotta get out and ride for sure, I'm right over the line in Agawam, past 6 Flags. 9/12 should be a good ride. Totally understand if you can't hang out after, wifes B-Day has to come first...or it may be your last ride :biggrin:

That was prob me on 168. I'm on it around 6-6:30 am and again coming home around 4:30 or so.

I'll put ya on the list and I'll get ya directions prior to 9/12. O2 VFR Rider is just over in Chicopee, we've gotten out a few times this summer. We'll have to hook up as well, you're probably 5 or 10 minutes from me. Going to the car show at Marks tonight? I might head over, not sure. Might thunder later too...maybe won't be many guys there.

seen red 6th gen last wed,thurs and friday friday was closer to 5pm?
looked like rider had on a white lid?

 

I've been to Mark's a few times this year. That would be a great meeting place as well while they're still doing it. I can't make it tonight, I'm committed to installing an attic fan and finishing a 911 that I have to get on the market. I'm glad you changed the date since I couldn't make the other two. 8/29 I'm running the regional Porsche Club autocross in Ayer, Mass and 9/5 I'm installing garage doors @ my buddies lake house. Good benefits there however, like waterskiing and BBQs etc.... plus it's cheaper than Disneyworld and the kids like it as much

So between you, 02, Bill and myself there's four 6th gens right near each other. Weekends are tough, it seems I (or the wife) have something planned every one. I'm not against and after work mini-ride.

Well, actually Friday I was on 91 around that time, but I was in a red F350 towing a boat, not to be confused with the red VFR :tongue:

 

So now with the 5th gen I can never seem to get to pull over, there is now a new 6th gen in the area.
I'm gonna get them one of these days :thumbsup:

I'm in the southern part of central Jersey, across Rt. 1 from the Princeton area - the other side of the tracks as it were - in Hightstown/East Windsor. Like a bunch of folks I'm a transplanted New Yorker, but lived with a sister for a while in Agawam (now in Amherst) and have another sister in East Longmeadow, so don't hold it against me.

It's been a long time since I've been up in that area. I worked in Windsor Locks - Dey Hill Road or something like that - for a summer way back in the day.
