Vfrd?

Well, somehow I managed to log more posts over there than everyone in this thread combined, can't be that bad?

VFRDiscussion.com has not, and is not, going anywhere - we're completely member supported with no ads, this year we raised all the funding for 2009 plus more in about 48 hours, it was pretty amazing to see everyone pull together like that! Those of you that do visit should just change your bookmarks to reflect the other name going away.

Seb, are they going to re-register the VFRD.com domain name?

 

No idea. Just set your bookmarks to vfrdiscussion.com, and you'll be good to go. We're having a big rally in Dillon, Colorado right now, the CEO is there, I'm sure he'll attend to it(if he wants to), sometime next week.

 

I use both sites, and I've been able to access it using the VFRdiscussion URL.
VFRD has some great tech stuff, plus I know Jeremy and Kevin (Cycle Gear) from the Marietta area.

 

As far as no sense of humor on the VFRD site...I can definitely attest to that. I was banned by Mig for no reason other then I was upset with someone and then he made it worse by getting proactive in the situation which just made me even more angry so the result was being banned for no reason so you better watch what you write on that side.

 

Tell the CEO to inject a sense of humor to the website and

reduce the Political Correctness crap to zero.

That site has it's panties all twisted up and needs to mellow out.

Great site for technical stuff....crappy site for fun and humor.

You got banned for threatening somebody, ya jackass! He wrote a blog about a ride, and you happened to crash during the ride. He didn't go on about it in detail, and you got mad because your ego was bruised!

To be honest, I like the PC/family style attributes of VFRD. There's more tech over there than there is here too, so it appeals to my engineering side. It is, first and foremost, a motorcycle site. Not a bs'ing, dick measuring, political shite spewing waste of time like so many other sites out there. I have a life outside of the internet where I discuss politics, waste time, and measure my dick...


Anyway, everybody likes what they like, so having two sites is a good thing.

 

I have a micro ruler you can use for that.... :thumbsup:

Seb likes to post on the VFRD alot but in this instance I would think he would be more understanding, I think when he hits a million posts I think he will get a free turkey :tongue: What I wrote on the VFRD site which Seb is referring to was 100% justified and one day when I meet the said person; that person and I are going to have a very short conversation because he will have to answer for what he did. Tell him to take his vitamins

For what it's worth the vfrd.com domain issue has been sorted out...

My 2 cents... I like VFRD... clean site, friendly atmosphere, good people, no ads.

 

i do enjoy going to sites, and wouldnt want to lose either, but i will say that the 500 extra posts on vfrworld does reflect how much more entertaining and easier to use our site is.

Ya gota love the free speech here, over there not so. This thread would have been done in long ago, had it been there. Yes I agree there's more tech stuff probably because of Busylittle shop, No? Why? I don't know what is it about that anyway? don't we wrench over here as well? over all My thoughts personally I don't care for the format of the site, Then add in the click bunch and a certain folk that owes me IMO a major apology. Hey it's different strokes ha-ha for different folks, what ever floats your boat. oh here's the photo that got me banned.
