Yeah as long as you're looking at the side. The front, however, is another story, those are some goofy looking headlights!

I hate to keep bringing it out, but my favorite gen. Formula one inspired, rocker pivot, leading link front suspension. Stressed member engine, pivot less (no rear suspension so technically its pivot less) perimeter frame. By using 2 x 4 nominal, treated lumber the frame width was reduced to 3'6" at the foot pegs. Simpson framing straps increased lateral rigidity by 21%. Even with all this break though technology, some cost concessions had to be made to keep the list price under $39.00 hence the drum brakes, & no fairing on this gen.

Oh My gosh, not sure what to say.. In general I like em all, but when it gets down to getting fussy, then the 4th not only is a great looking bike and spin off of the NR (Drool) but has a lot of little things that are missing on the newer version. Now that it's getting sorta dated, it has a new meaning, a cool factor. I still get folks coming up to me asking if that's a new model. Funny a friend that is into bikes was over just the other night and we talked about whats old is new again as far as older models getting their click back, Is all good.

Still say they should have made it more affordable and in a US version.. or at the least had the 4th gens look like it.

Agree, 4th gens are dead sexy side on.

Have posted the similarity before but still think the front reminds me of the late '60s Ice warriers helmet.

LOL the similarity is uncanny, I bet the designer had to meet a deadline and stole the idea from Ice Warriors!
