I recently when on a ride around the Big Bear Lake area in California. I spent two days up there riding the twisties, by the third day my crotch was a bit sensitive. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, can anyone share some riding techniques or gear that helps with this issues? Thanks a bunch.

Well, for the obvious, move away from the tank and start wearing a cup. I myself ruptured a testicle while riding, you want to talk about PAIN!

When I used to do track days, I would wear a cup under my leathers.

But even on fun runs, I would wear some tighty whities instead of boxers, to keep things more "in place" so I didn't end up with the any of the boys trapped between a thigh and the tank or a thigh and the seat. None of which is fun.

    Quit getting kicked there.......

I usually wear a pair of cycling underwear with a gel pad if I'm going on a longer ride.

    OK, Deepdish, I'll start...

These are the things that have worked for me:
    1. Wear pants.
    2. Don't sit on your balls.
    3. Stop abusing yourself while riding. Your hands belong on the grips, not the stick. It isn't an airplane.

Have you mentioned this to your significant other? I'm quite sure there are several ways to relieve said "ache".

    Ache

    1. The stock seat does not keep you from sliding forward on braking.

    2. +1 on cycling wear.

    3. Short of stature often do that. Stretch out and lean on handlebars more.

    4. Custom seats emphasize your butt, keeping you from crowding the boys.

If you don't move around on the seat while riding(otherwise as Knife said to much stick control), then reach in there and get all the family stuff out from under, sit down, remove hand, ride.
