please, the courts have been legislating forever, it is part of what they do, interpet the law. It has happened on both sides of the political aisle. If things were really so clear cut, then we wouldn't need the upper courts, as we could all plainly see what the law said.

I still feel that Obama, or "the most interesting (lier?) liar - (did you even graduate high school or what?) is doing a considerable job as our President. He is making some great choices to turn the nightmare of Bush's two terms around in the right direction. You keep complaining about money being spent by Obama. At least he is spending it in an effort to boost our country's economy. Bush spent trillions of dollars on a war that he started in search of terrorists and weapons of mass destruction. What a joke. I'm surprised Bush didn't start any other wars around the world to spend a little more of our money actually.But then, he isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch, and his advisors were always misinformed, right?

I think Obama will have a very positive impact on our country's wealth, health, educational systems, and military over the next two terms as our President. Given time, all Americans might see this (although some might not admit it). Might I remind people that idiot Bush had only a 27% approval rate his last year in office. It really can't get any worse than that.

 

Sepparating Iraq out but I thought Al qaeda forced Bush Jnr and the West into having no choice but invade Afganistan due to Clinton failing to act decisively when they were a just a contained group of hardcore nutters after their 1st bombing of the World Trade centre or later with the US Embassys bombed in Nairobi and Tanzania. ?

I'm going to try to give you the benefit of the doubt at this point and assume that you don't really mean the drivel you are spewing, and are just trying to generate and continue an argument for the sake of arguing. This has simply been a characture of your opinions to stimulate debate. Your wild flights of fancy regarding the military, wars, planes, foreign policy, the economy, history, ad nauseum, are so far from reality they must be simply to illicit responses.

Even I have trouble imagining you (and your supporters as well, e.g. Knife) are serious with the level of ignorance, indoctrination, bigotry and intolerance you're professing; and that's coming from someone who generally has a very low opinion of most people, especially those south of the Mason Dixon. (Read: I'm an arrogant Yankee SOB .) I mean if you were serious, I would completely have to rethink my belief that with regards to the Law of Nature ("Only the strong survive."), human intelligence is the barometer by which our species is measured.
