What do yall think? pretty nice for throwin it together. only cost a couple hundred total. 100 percent street legal, highway legal, and even rated to hold 800 lbs. Not that a vfr would pull that much. or be able to stop afterwards. but still.

If i was to modify the trailer the luggage rack is on it would look much better as a motorcycle trailer. but i plan to make a quick release to remove the luggage rack and be able to use the trailer for other purposes as well.

ya know I'm probably not telling you anything you dont know already, but just because something is legal does not mean you should do it.

the thing that I dislike about that style is that it knocks you're cargo from side to side.

I guess it depends on what you are carrying.

I don't have any trouble leaning. even doing u turns.

Well since you brought it up.... There's no problem with towing..... but with yours, 1st is the weight ratio of your bike/trailer.... plus you need to get the towing frame part on your bike so that it stays still instead of hanging... it will bite you one day....

The trailer is just a trailer kit. Its actually quite light.

what do you mean "instead of hanging".

by the way. the one in the picture is an old design. the new one is a bit shorter, much stronger, straighter and taller.

The one in the picture is a bit bent down, mainly because i wasent paying attention and backed up into it with the trailer and truck. new one is straight out with a part that lifts the ball.

    A. Monk you have beat me to the punch on every reply; kuddos.
    B. This trailer kit???? It was made for a sport touring bike? I would beleive it more behind a Goldwing.
    C. If this is a true trailer:crazy: why didn't you get rid of the wood under the lugage rack to save weight? What is the weight capacity of the trailer total??? Reguardless of what is towing it.
    C. I wouldnt ride that bike with the chain that loose without the trailer!
Ok man this is your boat and I am the one not in it when it sinks. If it does work, more power to ya. These are only questions. If it does work more power to you but I am really sceptical.

mmmmm.. it was rigid. as I sad. yours truly backed up into it and damaged it.

I am replacing the angle iron with square tubes which are much stronger. as well as shortening it up a bit.

it comes straight out from the swing arm and is quite rigid.

at least it will be if I quit driving over it.

The trailer is simply a small trailer. nothing more or less. its rated for 800 lbs. obviously I could never pull that much with a bike. but the trailer is capable of 800 lbs.

the wood is there simply because I plan to remove the luggage rack and use the trailer for other purposes when needed.

''I wouldnt ride that bike with the chain that loose without the trailer!"?

the chain is loose with or without thetrailer. why does having a trailer mke a difference. wither way it is imparitive that I get a new chain and sprokets.

my bike pulls thetrailer just the same as a goldwing.

the first trailer I pulled at 70 mph swerving and the trailer did not wobble one bit.
