    Hey all,

I started a VFR group for National Capital and surrounding areas. The idea is to meet each other, exchange ideas and plan rides. Please feel free to join and post pics, etc.

Sorry, I made the assumption that only those who are on FB would be joining the group. As you clearly have access to a PC, why not join?

Yeah, well, as if life doesn't have enough diversions already...we've become ardent opponents (as much as possible) of msn messenger, crackberry's, facebook, twitter and all other similar trappings.

These days, when I have a client inform me that they don't even have a cell phone, I shake their hand and tell them that I think they're amazing and that I wish we could kick the habit!

I'm having a friend who's a graphic artist work on vinyl for the back of my helmet that reads "STOP TEXTING & DRIVE ASSHOLE!"

    But I digress

Maybe someone'll keep me in the loop through VFRW - my wife's a rider too and real purdy so maybe she could tag along.

Since she's purdy, I would be happy to keep you in the loop

For what it's worth, I don't own a cell phone, crack berry, Ipod, etc. My pc is 10 years old.

Anyway, I'll let you know what transpires.

It indeed does. It adds an "eh" to the end of every sentence so we don't have to type it in.

I just resurected this thread to attract any riders in the Ottawa area. I've joined the facebook group and I'm looking to stimulate some riding soon.

So all Ottawa riders "check in" if you like to play in groups that is.

    S'up, Jethro...

Still here man...thought I have a ZX-14 now but if you guy's pull something together, lemme know! DA

On the other hand, if someone would just trade me their mint 5th or 6th gen (with aftermarket pipes to make up for the lack of gear driven cams), then I'd be a happy camper!

    Hello guys!
Names Robert, "from" Ottawa.. But I work in Petawawa. Bought a 97 VFR 750 few weeks ago. Just threw on new front / rear tires, brakes and sprokets, along with a new chain. So she's ready to be driven this weekend! This is my 4th bike ( 1985 rebel,03 500ninja and an 01 R6)
Let me know when you guys are touring.
