    PLEXUS

I always use PLEXUS spray on my Helmet and Visors, PLEXUS is fantastic stuff have had no problems using only it on my Iridium Visors since my first 5 years ago, great for your bikes screen and car headlights too. Use PLEXUS it works.

I heard plexxus is great stuff although I never tryed it. The Honda polish is mostly what I use, although now its call "Original" polish. Honda has nothing to do with it now.

I have been tempted to try Meguires Tech wax on it too. Its incredible stuff.

It sure is, use it on the VFRs painted surfaces and my car but just use normal Meguires on the missuses car.

if you use plexus (or any spray with a solvent) - dont leave it linger too long (put it on and take it off), and if you have an Iridium or Cara coated visor, avoid overspray onto the coating, they dont mix well.

Is this akin to polishing one's knob?

Actually I usually debug first with warm water on a soft paper towl just placed ( no rubbing ) on the bugs then pad dry with clean tissues before using the Plexus as a final coating allowing the foam to set about 15 secs before cleaning off with a clean Micro fibre cloth.

Re the Iridium, only clean the outside of my Shoei Iridium visor, the actual coating I believe is on the inside so only use warm very light dish liquid water, then final rinse with clean water on it and have never had iridium film issues on them, ( 2 in 8 yrs ).

After "squeezing your lizard" Plexus is great. Also the Honda Spray wax is good. Most Honda dealers in BC carry both products.

I use Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 on my lid and use the NXT speed detailer for quick clean-up.

I use NOVUS #1 Plastic Clean and Shine on my face shields.

"Protect All" also works well on almost all surfaces, painted or bare metal. If you are going on a trip, you can saturate a paper towel with it and store it in a ziploc baggie for the occasional gas station cleaning.
