Hi all.. just getting into riding, not even got my licence yet, but its all booked, and fingers crossed for a second time lucky pass!

Anyway, just put some money down for a '98 VFR last night, and very excited about my first ride once I am legal! The seller was a top bloke, and seemed sad to see his beloved go, but life moves on eh and hopefully he knows it's going to a good home

Here it is with it's custom paint, micron exhaust and K&N filter :) Not sure about the exhaust, but no plans to change anything.

Looks great! This is a big bike for a first ride so be careful out there. Congrats!

    Thanks :)

I had to think carefully, and decide how sensible I could realistically be. I started slowly with cars and built up to the one I have now (200hp Volvo S40 T4). I know a bike is in a whole new league and at this size will kill me as soon as look at me, so the grim reaper tank protector seems like a good reminder. I will be doing plenty of practice on roads I know well before taking it out anywhere too exciting.
