Hey all, I need to get to the main fuse box on my 06. I've tried this afternoon but ran out of time and patience. Do I really have to remove all of the front plastic to get to it?? I mean wtf!!!! Why put something like that in such a hard place to get at? Damn, didn't Honda think a frigging fuse would blow now and then!:crazy: I have no rear running lights or brake lights. I was trying to wire up a license plate LED and think I blew a fuse, I'm so frustrated right now I could swallow bullfrogs backwards!
Bikes typically don't blow fuses unless something is wrong, hence the application of a fuse . I'm really hoping they have never sold anything expecting it to blow a fuse every now and then . You don't have to remove the upper cowl to get to the fuses.
Understand, fuse blows when something is wrong - I was trying to install an LED for my license plate, it didn't work when I turned on the juice. Thot I had screwed up and hence the fuse blew, especially when I didn't have any rear running lights or brake lights. For both of those to go out simultaneously is rare, so I thot fuse. I finally got to the fuse box and low and behold, no blown fuse. I pulled the bulbs and I'll be a sum bith, both bulbs had blown. What's the chance of that? You may ask, why didn't you check the bulbs first? Again, what's the odds of both of them going at the same time? I'm relieved it's just the bulbs and nothing more serious that could cause a fuse to let go. However, I'm frustrated as hell for the three plus hours of work in a 90+ degree garage with humidity hovering around 85%. I will mount the fuse box in a more convenient place and put all this crap back together tomorrow after work. Where's the Tylenol? Better yet, Valium.
