    Well,
Since I've always been of the school of enough is good but more is better I have now joined the ranks of Multi-Gen owners. After checking out a couple of rather rough examples, I came across an unbelievable 4th gen and couldn't pass it up. Bought it today, insured and registered it, and now I know why everyone loves the earlier gens. I'm not saying it's better overall than my 6th Gen, just edgier (in a very, very good way :)

Regardless, it's the best $3K I've spent in a long time. Here is the PO's ad writeup and after the first 60 miles of riding so far it all seems to be true...

Here we have a spectacular example of one of the best bikes ever made. The VFR line of bikes have won Best Sport Touring bike for 10 years in a row... that's how good it is. This example has just over 26,000 miles and has been very well cared for. At 16,000 miles it had all its' scheduled maintenance done. I.e. Fuel filter, Valve tolerances, NGK spark plugs etc. etc. It has regularly had the oil changed with 20w-50 synthetic oil, Purolator Pure One filter and all other normal services. At 20,000 miles I had the chain and sprocket replaced, Zero Gravity Smoked screen installed and had the air filter replaced. At 24,000 miles the brakes and lines(Stainless Steel Braided) were replaced, all brake and clutch fluids were done and at 25,000 miles the tires were replaced with Pirelli Diablos. Other options include tank bra, PIAA headlights, Two Brothers Racing Carbon Fiber High Mount exhaust(sounds incredible, like a small V8), Corbin Seat and Factory Pro Stage 1 Jet Kit(not installed). I also have all the standard stock stuff too like the seat, screen, and passenger grab handles. There are a couple of scuffs/scratches but nothing that will detract from the bikes appearance. No broken plastic/fairings!

That is sweet. Now we need a picture of the two bikes together.

Thanks; it really is a sweet bike. Also a new battery and the R/R already swapped out. And the sound from the Two Brothers can...intoxicating. Every so often in life eveything just seems to fall into place...

Will do as soon as this thunderstorm passes by; we can't seem to buy a full day of sunshine this summer in the northeast...

Thanks. Boy, between the 4th gen's stock lower weight plus the weight savings with the 2 BROS can this bike feels much more flickable than my '04. Do like the EFI on the 6 gen, though...
